Church Is Still Happening

Beloved,

We pray each of you are are staying healthy and holy in the midst of this pandemic. We are pleased that the curve is going in the right direction in Maryland and our Anne Arundel county and so we are making arrangements to begin resume our 'In House' Worship Services effective Sunday, October 4th at 9:00 AM. In doing so, however, we take all possible precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of anyone who decides to attend service, keeping to social distancing measures and limiting physical greetings. We understand that attending a gathering is a potential risk, and we ask that each of you exercise wisdom in assessing this risk for yourself. Our services will be live streamed, and if you feel uncomfortable with coming to church for service, we encourage you to join us online.

In attending our services, we ask that you follow these guidelines:

  1. We will follow all CDC recommendations for holding a gathering which includes medical masks required and touch less temperature checks. We will also have automatic touch less soap as well as hand sanitizers in the church.
  2. You must register to attend the Worship Service. Registration link on Home Page
  3. We ask families to all come in a single car (where possible) to alleviate the parking burden and better help with social distance seating.
  4. We ask that you not congregate in the lobby before or after service. Please walk directly into the sanctuary and take a seat as directed by the ushers. After service, please go outside, without lingering in the lobby.
  5. If you or someone in your family has a fever (that develops on Sunday, or that occurred during the week), unusual fatigue or body aches, we ask that you stay home and join the service ONLINE.
  6. If you consider yourself to be at risk of being infected with COVID-19 at church during the service, we ask that you stay home and join the service online!

We hope you stay safe and healthy! May God richly bless you all!

With prayer,

Pastor Alan Postell
